Our collection criteria
We accept:
- Anything that can be cut by a hedge trimmer (foliage);
- A pile of material composed of 100% green foliage;
- Branches must not exceed 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter;
- The length of the branches must not exceed 3 feet (90 cm);
- The material must be placed at the roadside, either in piles or in bag(s) before making your collection request.
If your cedar trimmings do not meet these criterias, we offer a chipping service with fees. To learn more, click here.
Important Changes to the List of Cities and Municipalities Served
Starting September 15th, we will no longer be able to serve residents of cities and municipalities that have not signed an official agreement with Arbressence. To check if your city is still covered, please consult the list of serviced municipalities on our Collection page.
If you would like Arbressence to extend its cedar trimmings collection service to your area, we encourage you to contact your local city councillors and ask them to sign the official agreement that will allow us to offer you our free and eco-friendly service.
