Blainville, April 28, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 With growing citizen participation and a recognized commitment to environmental stewardship, the City of Pr\u00e9vost is continuing its collaboration with Arbressence for another year of cedar trimming collection.<\/p>\n

A partner since 2016, Pr\u00e9vost continues to stand out year after year as a model of municipal ecological management. The cedar trimming collection service, available from May 1 to October 31, 2025, will once again be offered free of charge to Pr\u00e9vost residents. Scheduling a collection is easy\u2014citizens simply complete a quick online request<\/a> on Arbressence\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

A year of strong growth in 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year, the City of Pr\u00e9vost recorded 432 collection requests, an increase of over 24% compared to 2023, which had 348. In total, 45.36 tons of cedar trimmings were recovered in 2024, with a participation rate of 7.55%.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9vost continues to shine as one of Quebec\u2019s most committed cities in the ecological transition. Its ongoing collaboration with Arbressence reflects a clear intent: to provide accessible, concrete, and responsible services that naturally integrate into citizens’ daily habits.<\/p>\n
