Blainville, April 28, 2025 – With growing citizen participation and a recognized commitment to environmental stewardship, the City of Prévost is continuing its collaboration with Arbressence for another year of cedar trimming collection.
A partner since 2016, Prévost continues to stand out year after year as a model of municipal ecological management. The cedar trimming collection service, available from May 1 to October 31, 2025, will once again be offered free of charge to Prévost residents. Scheduling a collection is easy—citizens simply complete a quick online request on Arbressence’s website.
A year of strong growth in 2024
Last year, the City of Prévost recorded 432 collection requests, an increase of over 24% compared to 2023, which had 348. In total, 45.36 tons of cedar trimmings were recovered in 2024, with a participation rate of 7.55%.

Prévost continues to shine as one of Quebec’s most committed cities in the ecological transition. Its ongoing collaboration with Arbressence reflects a clear intent: to provide accessible, concrete, and responsible services that naturally integrate into citizens’ daily habits.
