Blainville, April 23, 2025 — It is confirmed: the City of Chambly will continue its collaboration with Arbressence for a second consecutive year for the collection of cedar scrap. After a notable departure in 2024, the service will be back from May 1 to October 31, 2025, with the same objective: to offer a simple, local and accessible service to citizens.

A promising first year

Launched in 2024, the collection quickly resonated with residents of Chambly. In just a few months, 208 applications were registered, allowing 21.84 tons of cedar scrap to be diverted from landfills. With a participation rate of 1.65%, the City of Chambly ranked first among the new municipalities on the South Shore of Montreal.

A service at your fingertips

Planning a collection remains as simple as it is intuitive. Simply fill out a short online form on the Arbressence website, accessible to all citizens of Chambly throughout the summer season.

A concrete action, a real impact

By pursuing this agreement, the City of Chambly affirms its commitment to sustainable municipal practices while facilitating the adoption of concrete actions by its citizens. This approach is a natural part of a modern vision for green waste management: useful, efficient and forward-looking.

About Arbressence: Arbressence is the largest producer of coniferous essential oil in Canada. With 20 years of experience in cedar recycling, Arbressence is recognized for its commitment to sustainable environmental practices.
