Blainville, April 30, 2025 – Arbressence is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with the City of La Prairie for a second year. Following a successful first year in 2024, the cedar trimming collection service will continue to be available, allowing residents to schedule a pickup from May 1 to October 31, 2025.
A partnership that promotes sustainability
In 2024, 120 collections were completed and 12.60 tonnes of cedar trimmings were recovered. The continuation of this partnership is part of a broader commitment to sustainability and waste reduction. Once again, the recovered cedar trimmings will be repurposed into eco-friendly products, contributing to a circular economy that respects the environment.
A simple and accessible online service
Since the beginning of the partnership, the cedar trimming collection service has proven to be a simple and convenient tool for La Prairie residents. Through Arbressence’s website, citizens can schedule a free pickup. This service ensures optimal management of green waste while helping to maintain a cleaner environment.
