Blainville, April 17, 2025 – The Municipality of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Arbressence are proud to announce the renewal of their partnership for 2025, a strong collaboration that has lasted for 16 years. Thanks to this partnership, residents continue to benefit from an efficient and well-regarded cedar trimming collection service, with impressive results that highlight the long-term success of the initiative.

An Outstanding Participation Rate: A Model to Follow

In 2024, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac recorded 312 collection requests and recovered over 32 tons of cedar trimmings, with an exceptional participation rate of 11%. This figure, well above average, demonstrates the community’s strong commitment to this eco-friendly initiative.

A Long-Term Success Story

Saint-Joseph-du-Lac is a prime example of what a lasting partnership between a municipality and Arbressence can achieve over time. The cedar trimming collection service has become a well-established habit among residents, and the results speak for themselves. With a high participation rate in 2024, the town stands out as a model of success in green waste management.

2025: Continuing to Reap the Benefits of a Successful Collaboration

In 2025, the partnership continues, and Arbressence is proud to contribute to the ecological management of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. Residents will once again be able to take advantage of the collection service from May 1 to October 31, 2025. Collection requests can easily be made online, providing a practical, quick, and accessible solution for all.
