About Arbressence
Arbressence is the largest producer of conifer essential oil in Canada. Founded in 2003 in Blainville, our company quickly established itself as a major player in organic material recycling and the circular economy. We take pride in offering a doorstep cedar trim collection service in over 125 municipalities, in partnership with cities, eco-centers, and local businesses. Each year, we divert over 6000 tons of material, which would otherwise end up in landfills, and carefully process it to extract the essential oil.

engagement
Our commitment to the environment and the communities we serve is at the heart of our mission. With more than 50 dedicated employees during peak season, we deploy over 25 propane or electric trucks that travel through the cities of 8 administrative regions (Laurentides, Laval, Montreal, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec, Montérégie, and Estrie) from Monday to Saturday. We are proud to actively participate in the circular economy by collecting, distilling, and redistributing valuable residual mulch from the distillation process to our partners so they can use it as ecological backfill. Arbressence is much more than an essential oil production company; we are a committed partner in the preservation of our environment and the sustainable development of our regions.
